Finally got this bugger online!
Ok earlier this year we made a documentary on how we made church news from the initial script writing to the final playback on a sunday. It covers everything from camera operation, post production skills, editor management and dealing with departments. I hope you guys enjoy it! I think it turned out alright! 
Well the film was shown and my mate Glenn Stewart’s amazing film “Immolation” picked up first place. Congrats Glenn!!! I would like to thank everyone involved in this film, it was a tremendous blessing to me personally and it was great to work with such a talented team!

The film has been made and has been submitted, but I dunno, I always felt like something was missing. Actually I was more concerned that the ending didn’t come across strong enough and that people will end up going “huh? I don’t understand what is going on here?”
*sigh*
Shooting went extremely well and I feel pretty confident that the message of the film will come across strong
I also found that storyboarding the film helped bring my directing skills into focus as it allowed me to focus on what was happening in the scene rather than thinking about what shot I would need next. I also find it invaluable because it allows to me to efficiently shoot things out of order and not have to redo setups.

I was actually reminded the other day that the new star trek movie is coming out!!! woohoo and directed by none other than the legendary J J Abrams (LOST, ALIAS, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE III). Does anyone know if this is an odd one or even one?

As of this year, our church announced that they were having an annual Easter Film festival which to me is somewhat of a dream come true ( I honestly have been waiting for ages to get a reason to make a film for church!). Sufficed to say I was pretty excited.
